Sony and BMW eye Linux for playthings

Also, BMW is reportedly looking at switching to embedded Linux for the OS running the iDrive computer in its 745i sedan.
The CNET story is based on comments made by Sam Greenblatt, a senior vice president and chief architect of Computer Associates' Linux technology group.
