This showcase guide offers summaries of LinuxDevices stories about devices that use embedded Linux. Organized by category of device, the guide includes mobile phones, netbooks, MIDs, PDAs, audio and video gear, networking equipment, robots, and much more. It does not cover larger systems that run desktop and server Linux distributions.

In some cases, the guide goes back as far as 2001, so keep in mind that earlier products may not still be available or have been updated and possibly covered in more recent stories. Also note that category definitions have changed over the years, and many devices, such as portable media players (PMPs) and mobile Internet devices (MIDs) blur the lines between categories, so make sure you check out the other showcases to ensure that your search is complete.
