Tool suite simplifies Linux USB device driver creation

This latest version of WinDriver also supports Microsoft's Windows CE.NET, the company said.
According to Jungo, WinDriver simplifies the task of device driver development by providing graphical development environments, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), hardware diagnostic utilities and samples. The tools are said to provide immediate hardware access and automatic code generation, and include cross platform capabilities for porting of code to all supported operating systems.
WinDriver v6.0 is available now, and a fully functional 30-day evaluation can be downloaded from Jungo's website.
