Tuxia Labs Australia has released an upgrade to NxZilla, a set of libraries that allow Mozilla to be used with a NanoX server. Matthew Wlazlo, of the NxZilla project, provided the following description of the new release . . .

This is basically a release to bring NxZilla up to date with Mozilla 0.9.4. Improvements in this release include . . .

• Image rendering speed increase. We can now view animated GIFs!
  
• Got rid of the True Type font enumeration hack and do it properly (from the actual fonts on the system :)
  
• CSS2 Cursors.
  
• Dialogs close properly, and most of the chrome focus issues have been fixed.
  
• Keyboard and mouse modifiers work.
  
• Keyboard and mouse modifiers work.

Still to do . . .

• Embedding interface, maybe using FLTK. This may even provide the speed we desire!
  
• Plugins support.

There is still some way to go, but it's looking good so far!

Known problems . . .

• Still problems with font enumeration. Only a single font is used in HTML pages.
  
• IFRAMEs that are over the edge of the visible area do not scroll very well.
  
• The main browser does not like scrolling when it is partially hidden off screen.
