Vote in VDC’s online survey of embedded computer boards

Feb 28, 2002 — by LinuxDevices Staff — from the LinuxDevices Archive — views

Venture Development Corporation (VDC) would like members of LinuxDevices.com's online community to participate in a new online survey of embedded computer boards. Here's the scoop . . .

As part of the Applications Analyses segment of its 2001-2006 Global Market Study of Embedded Computers Planning Service, VDC will capture a snapshot of user preferences in the merchant computer board market, to help vendors improve their product offerings.

Users (OEMs, Systems Integrators, VARs) and consumers of embedded computer boards are invited to participate in a quick online survey designed to help VDC in this effort.

As incentive, VDC offers participants a chance to win a DVD player, a PDA or a $200 gift certificate to Amazon.com. VDC will also donate one dollar, for every completed survey, to the National Exchange Club Foundation for the Prevention of Child Abuse. The NEC Foundation is committed to making a difference in the lives of children, families and communities (www.preventchildabuse.com). In addition, VDC will also supply participants with a white paper (soft-copy), which will outline the general findings of the study.

VDC is an independent research and consulting firm, located in Natick Massachusetts, with 16 years experience covering the embedded space. For a chance to tell board manufacturers what consumers really want, participate in the survey by clicking this link and receive a chance to win a DVD player.
