Taiwanese single-board computer vendor Acrosser is shipping a small industrial PC that supports a variety of embedded Intel processors, including a 667MHz FSB Core 2 Duo. The company claims its AR-ES0892 to be the world's smallest Core 2 Duo system with PCI and x16 PCIe expansion. (more…)

Noise cancellation technology targets mobile phones

NCT of Cambridge, England has developed software technology said to allow Bluetooth headsets and mobile phones to be used in extremely noisy environments, such as construction sites and auto racetracks.
