JTAG flash programmer/debugger adds JFFS2

The PEEDI debugger (“powerful embedded Ethernet interface”) can also program NOR Flash and DataFlash, and do simple debugging via… telnet.
Ronetix says PEEDI's new JTAG NAND flash programming feature enables “easy programming of a Linux root filesystem.” When first announced, the debugger was positioned as a faster alternative to serial flash programmers for embedded developers using the open source eCos RTOS on ARM7 and ARM9 microcontrollers.
In addition to support for relatively high-speed NOR and NAND flash programming over Ethernet, the PEEDI device has a built-in telnet interface, for simple debugging. The company also recently announced PowerPC support earlier this month.
The JFFS2 filesystem was merged into the stable Linux kernel in October of 2003, in a 2.6.0 release.
