AMIRIX and TimeSys team up to support embedded Linux

Through this new alliance with TimeSys, AMIRIX will now focus on combining its custom design services using TimeSys Linux as a tool and software platform, for embedded applications in defense, aerospace, medical, and telecommunications applications, the companies said.
“We are very impressed by TimeSys' tools and support and are strong supporters of their 'ready to run' approach to embedded Linux,” commented AMIRIX president/CEO Sandra Greer. “Our expertise in design services is the ideal complement to TimeSys Linux for streamlining development costs and enabling customers to bring products to market faster.”
According to TimeSys CEO Larry Weidman, the “partnership with AMIRIX will strengthen our strategy of making TimeSys Linux the choice for embedded systems developers by providing our customers with access to a wider range of services,” said TimeSys CEO Larry Weidman. “We are looking forward to the opportunity of expanding the presence of TimeSys Linux RTOS.”
