Broadband security gateway solution supports Intel IXP425 NP, Linux

Intoto Inc. today unveiled a broadband security gateway solution based on the Intel IXP425 network processor. Intoto's iGateway Firewall and iGateway VPN are fully integrated and ready for shipment on the Intel IXP425 network processor. The comprehensive security solution is based on a choice of operating systems including embedded Linux and VxWorks, and provides complete ICSA certified Firewall and VPN… functionality on the Intel IXP425 network processor development platform.

Intoto's iGateway Firewall and VPN solutions offer full-featured security functionality. The Cyber Defense Engine in ICSA-certified iGateway Firewall protects against a large number of Internet attacks including DoS, DDoS, & reassembly attacks and has built-in NAT with support for a wide range of Application Level Gateways (ALGs). The iGateway VPN solution is a complete IP-VPN implementation including IPSec, IKE and PKI. This is certified by ICSA and VPNC for interoperability and conformance. Intoto's solution on Intel broadband platforms also includes application content filtering, authenticated remote user access, web-based management, logging and administration.
