Sharp Microelectronics says its highly integrated ARM922T-based 32-bit system-on-chip (SoC) processor, the LH7A404, is now available in production quantities. The Dillo project to build a small, fast, lightweight, standards-compliant embeddable Web browser has released a new version with “the largest set of improvements, ever,” according to project founder Jorge Cid. Intel outlined plans today, at the Intel Developer Forum in San Francisco, to drive the development of a complete, standards-based, common platform for ultra-wideband (UWB) wireless technology.
