Commercial embedded Linux GNU toolchains updated

GNU X-Tools 3.40 includes tested, modified, commercially supported toolchains based on stable releases of GNU compilers, linkers, and other tools. It is available for 15 architectures — optionally with a visual development environment.
GNU X-Tools 3.4 includes:
- gcc v3.40 (C/C++ compilers)
- binutils v2.15 (LD linker, AR archiver, AS assembler, instruction set simulator, and other utilities)
- Visual GDB debugger (a.k.a. Insight) v6.1

- M68K/ColdFire
- M-CORE
- MIPS
- MIPS64
- PowerPC

Additionally, the GNU X-Tools work with an optional graphical development environment offered by Microcross. The Visual X-Tools IDE (integrated development environment) is based on the Visual SlickEdit, and can be hosted on Linux or Windows workstations.
Availability
GNU X-Tools 3.40 are available now, priced at $1,000 per target architecture, including setup support. The Visual X-Tools IDE adds $500. Optional engineering support costs $1,000 per project for the first year, including phone and email support, training guide, free upgrades, and access to a member Website.
