ELC seeks speakers for Consumer Linux session at ESC
Aug 27, 2004 — by LinuxDevices Staff — from the LinuxDevices Archive — viewsThe Embedded Linux Consortium (ELC) is soliciting three papers for a session at the Embedded Systems Conference (ESC), March 6-10, 2005 in San Francisco. The 90-minute “Design Guidance” session will be moderated by Dr. Kevin Dankwardt of K Computing, and will discuss using Linux in consumer products and systems.
According to ELC Executive Director Murry Shohat, the session will aim to present clear, pragmatic design guidance for those considering Linux. “Anyone with a vendor-neutral perspective should submit their ideas,” said Shohat, who adds that entries from non-ELC members will also be considered.
Interested speakers can also find out more by writing to Shohat or to Dr. Dankwardt.
