Embedded Linux specialist TimeSys Corp., a continual source of free, informative webinars on embedded Linux, has added podcasts to its repertoire. The first “LinuxLink Radio” podcast, currently available from the company's website, introduces embedded Linux, discusses why it's important, and briefly explains how to start… developing with it.

LinuxLink Radio, hosted by TimeSys staffers Gene Sally and Maciej Halasz, will comprise bi-weekly podcasts covering a wide range of topics geared toward embedded Linux developers. The hosts will discuss development issues, provide guest interviews, highlight various LinuxLink projects, mention selected embedded Linux news, and respond to listener email, TimeSys says.

“We picked podcasts, because we know a lot of people get the webinars, and they can't either see or hear part of it, and they have trouble getting whatever sort of information we want to get out to our users,” Sally explains in the initial podcast's introduction.

“We intend it to be as interactive as possible,” adds Halasz. “We're looking forward to hearing from you email and by phone.”

Topics covered on LinuxLink Radio's inaugural, half-hour “Episode 1” podcast include:
