Following feedback from the Linux community, FirstLinux.com would like to announce five additional articles to the collection. They address the following areas:

• MP3 — listen to high quality music
  
• Games — have some fun with your computer
  
• Scientific — solve mathematical problems
  
• PIMs — organize your life with Linux
  
• CD Writing — the CD can solve your data storage requirements

“I've installed Linux: What Next?” is a series of articles aimed at helping you realise the full potential of Linux. Linux is now attracting mainstream attention and many people have tried installing this Operating System on their machines. After installation queries, the next most common question we get asked at FirstLinux is “What Next?” We've written a number of articles split into application areas which address just this question. These suggestions are aimed at anyone new to Linux, whether they be a computer novice, an experienced UNIX wizard coming to Linux for the first time, or a Windows “power” user.

Each of the articles indicate areas where you can make the most of Linux — some of the material may be a little technical and some Linux applications a little rough around the edges — but overall we think you will agree that there's a lot that can be achieved both in the home and in business. In each article we've tried to indicate what's available for free and what's available in the commercial sector. There's also a short glossary of technical terms included at the end.
