Free Linux environment for Sharp Zaurus achieves release

OpenZaurus 3.5.3 supports most Zaurus models, and features an improved boot process, along with many new and updated packages and a wide variety of bug fixes.
Supported models include the 5000, 5500, 5600, 6000, B500, C700, C750, C760, and C860. Support for the hard-drived equiped C3000 and its less expensive derivative, the C1000, is expected with the 3.5.4 release.
Satisfied OpenZaurus users, as well as those wishing to hasten the arrival of C3000/C1000 support, are encouraged to donate to the project.
