Hard Hat Linux nabs Penguin Playoff Award

Hard Hat Linux was selected from a field of more than 60 entrants at the Linux Business Expo in Las Vegas.
Richard Vernon, Editor of Linux Journal, had these comments on the selection of Hard Hat Linux for the award: “MontaVista supports freely available development tools such as Microwindows, which gives developers the power to create advanced GUI interfaces with a small memory footprint. Developing and maintaining Open Source tools is absolutely necessary for success as an embedded Linux distribution vendor. MontaVista's tools are impressive.”
