Hard Hat Linux seminars announced

Sunnyvale, CA — (press release excerpt) — MontaVista Software Inc. is sponsoring four half-day seminars for embedded software developers in California, the Midwest and Canada. The seminars, entitled “Moving from a Proprietary RTOS to Embedded Linux,” will be held at the Santa Clara Hilton in Santa Clara, Calif., on Thursday, May 24; at the Irvine Hilton in Irvine, Calif., on Thursday, May 31; in Chicago… on Tuesday, June 5; and in Toronto on Thursday, June 7. All seminar times are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The “Moving from a Proprietary RTOS to Embedded Linux” seminars will feature demonstrations of embedded systems that have already been developed by MontaVista and its partners using MontaVista¹s award-winning Hard Hat Linux development environment.

All seminar attendees are eligible to enter a drawing to win a free embedded development kit that includes MontaVista¹s Hard Hat Linux 2.0, Journeyman Edition, and a development kit from Embedded Planet.
