Internet security coprocessor chip comes with Linux drivers

SafeNet says the SafeXcel-4850 provides deep packet classification at all OSI layers, including the payload, at 2.5Gbps aggregate throughput. The company claims the chip is the industry's first full, regular expression processing engine offered in silicon.
Additionally, SafeNet is offering a PCI card based on the chip and a “Regular Expression” compiler which supports integration of the chip or the board. Drivers for Linux and VxWorks are included.
