Java-based embedded software rides with Delphi Automotive

Milpitas, CA — (press release excerpt) — NetClue Corp. has announced that Delphi Automotive Systems will use NetClue's Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) compliant technology and File Viewer for Delphi's Mobile MultiMedia Product Line. NetClue's technology for Internet file viewing will be used with text-to-speech software. The content of a file can either be viewed when the vehicle is stopped or be heard by activating the text-to-speech software while driving.

Delphi Automotive Systems' mobile multimedia products provide advanced communication, information, and entertainment systems for passenger and commercial applications. (See story.)

NetClue's WAP compliant technology and File Viewer are part of NetClue's Java-based embedded software. NetClue's WAP compliant technology enables WAP compliant devices to communicate. Coupled with NetClue?s Webcore technology, devices such as PDAs and cellular phones are enabled to provide consumers with an uncompromising web-viewing experience. The Webcore server process all computing intensive tasks, including all web pages and applications processing, allowing smaller devices which otherwise lack computing power to run complicated applications to adopt an ultra thin-client approach. NetClue?s File Viewer supports web file viewing for a complete suite of file formats. NetClue's Clue Web Browser is designed to revolutionize the concept of developing web applications. Currently, most web applications have to be hosted inside the browsers, making it difficult for web developers to create any distinct features not supported by browsers. With NetClue's Clue browser technology, application developers now can run their applications outside the browsers and still be able to display ubiquitous and resource-abundant webpages.
