Sunnyvale, CA — (press release excerpt)– Jungo Software Technologies today announced the availability of OpenRG support for the ARM7TDMI microprocessor core. Jungo provides a comprehensive, feature-rich software platform that incorporates advanced system management functions to simplify the installation, management and network configuration functions associated with gateway products. Jungo's OpenRG is a stable, robust and fully-tested Linux-based solution that has been tailored to run on the ARM7TDMI core, which does not feature a Memory Management Unit (MMU).

Jungo also provides a complete embedded development environment for smooth implementation of residential and small office/home office (SOHO) gateway applications running on the ARM7TDMI core. The ARM7 family core-based solution is suitable for supporting low cost DSL modems and routers. Support for the ARM9 family cores is planned for the end of second quarter 2002.
