Latest unofficial ARM Debian boot disk available

Jul 15, 2003 — by LinuxDevices Staff — from the LinuxDevices Archive — views

Simtec Electronics announced the availability of a “not-yet-official” Debian GNU/Linux boot disk for ARM processors. The company said it has sponsored the development of the boot disk, and that the changes will be included in the next Debian release (3.0r2); but in the mean time, the boot disk can be downloaded from Simtec's website.

According to Simtec, the boot disk supports their gbp99 ARM7 development board and soon-to-be-available gbp199 StrongARM development board, as well as many other popular ARM boards such as the Netwinder and LART.

The boot disk can be downloaded here
