Lineo establishes German division

Munich, GERMANY — (press release excerpt) — Lineo has announced the establishment of Lineo GmbH in Munich and appointed Werner Hartwig and Ronan Gonidec as sales directors in the Lineo EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) sale division. The Munich office is the sales headquarters for Lineo's Central European region, consisting of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and eastern
Europe.

Heading the Munich office is Werner Hartwig, who brings more than 16 years of experience in selling and marketing innovative hardware and software solutions to the position. His experience with major accounts in the semiconductor, telecommunications, automotive and industrial industries add to his expertise in the same market segments targeted by Lineo's solutions. As Lineo sales director of central Europe, Hartwig is responsible for building and fostering sales relationships in the region, providing support services to Lineo customers and heading and establishing the Munich office.

Also joining Lineo EMEA sales is Ronan Gonidec, who most recently was a strategic sales development manager in the embedded internet appliance industry. Gonidec also has sales experience with Digital Equipment as manager of high availability accounts for Alcatel's telecom programs and information systems. Gonidec is responsible for managing Lineo's sales and support organization in southern Europe. Additionally, he is responsible for developing business with major systems integrators and equipment manufacturers in France, Spain and Italy.
