Linux in industry: Urban waste management systems

Networking capabilities were needed to meet new waste management and taxation laws. Gb.com had previously delivered 15 Windows-based waste management systems, as well as automation units for photovoltaic power generation.
Gb.com calls its new embedded Linux-based systems a user-friendly, cost effective solution for managing ecological islands.
