MontaVista Software joins Open Mobile Alliance

The Open Mobile Alliance is defining an open standards-based framework on which mobile applications and services can be built, deployed, and managed efficiently and reliably in a multi-vendor environment. The group currently has approximately 300 member companies, such well known companies as Alcatel, AT&T Wireless Services, Cisco Systems, Nokia, Nortel Networks, Panasonic Mobile Communications, Sony, AOL Time Warner, Texas Instruments, Toshiba, and Yamaha.
