Nat Semi showcases Linux-based Mobile Gateway device

The small powerful “conceptual device” demonstrates the convergence of broadband mobile communications with personal wireless networks, and allows handheld devices to… seamlessly connect to different networks, such as Bluetooth, 802.11 and GSM, as the user moves between the home, office and outdoors.
The Mobile Gateway will store and retrieve local content in its CompactFlash storage, while also accessing the infinite storage of the Internet. National developed the product in conjunction with eLabs and Century Software. It features a high performance, low power Geode SC3200 processor, National's Bluetooth Compact Flash card, and Century Software's Embedded Linux OS.
