New email client and database apps released for the Zaurus PDAs
Mar 7, 2003 — by LinuxDevices Staff — from the LinuxDevices Archive — 1 viewsTheKompany.com has announced two new software applications for the Sharp Zaurus Linux PDAs. The two new apps, which currently support the Zaurus 5000 and 5500 models, are described as follows . . .
- tkcCard — a lite weight, easy to use, flexible data management system. You can create any type of arbitrary table with arbitrary fields — a very handy app.
- tkcMail — this is what it says: an email client for the Zaurus. But this isn't just any email client; we've brought everything to bear on this like SSL, SMTP Auth, selectable storage, intelligent word wrap, tons of other features. It *will* have IMAP in the very near future as well, and updates are free.
Both new Zaurus apps are available from TheKompany.com's website.
