New software test automation tool for Fortran users
Nov 17, 2001 — by LinuxDevices Staff — from the LinuxDevices Archive — viewsMountain View, CA — (press release excerpt) — software development automation tools specialist Cleanscape Software International introduced Cleanscape Grayboxx, an advanced cross-platform software test automation system, at the Super Computing Conference in Denver last week.
Cleanscape Grayboxx provides software developers and test engineers an automatic method for testing software components, for measuring test effectiveness, and for verifying functional and structural performance requirements in mission critical applications. It allows developers to automatically: generate test cases, conduct coverage analysis with complexity metrics, conduct unit performance testing, generate test stubs, generate test harnesses, execute tests, prepare modules, and verify results. Cleanscape Grayboxx also allows for both full and partial regression testing.
Cleanscape Grayboxx will initially be available for Fortran application development in the first quarter of 2002 for Linux, Solaris, SGI, Unix, and Windows platforms. Additional versions for Ada, C, Perl, and Assembly will be introduced throughout 2002.
