RadiSys dons Hard Hat

(Hillsboro, OR) has signed a partnership agreement with MontaVista Software to promote the Linux operating system on RadiSys' embedded solutions. Under the agreement, MontaVista will provide Linux support for RadiSys' embedded solutions customers based on MontaVista's Hard Hat Linux products. Three of RadiSys' embedded motherboards have already been qualified to run Hard Hat Linux — the PW810, the EMB1 and the EM440, all of which are members of RadiSys' long-life motherboard family.
RadiSys (www.radisys.com) designs and manufactures building blocks for next-generation Internet, communications, industrial automation, medical equipment, and transaction terminal applications. MontaVista (www.mvista.com) will provide Radisys' customers with access to Linux expertise and developer assistance.
