REDSonic SEA, a new wholly-owned subsidiary of REDSonic, will promote real-time Linux solutions to the region's embedded marketplace and will provide application development, porting, and other engineering services. REDSonic SEA will also offer training courses and workshops beginning in the fourth quarter of this year.
For REDSonic, the opening of REDSonic SEA provides a window into South-East Asia and access to countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and India. “One of our company's goals has always been to build a strong presence in Asia. The opening of REDSonic SEA in Singapore helps to solidify that goal,” said Kwei-Jay Lin, CEO at REDSonic.
REDSonic views Singapore as a growing center of innovation and technology and hopes to contribute to its growth. “We've seen an influx of high-technology companies into Singapore and we feel the area is growing exponentially in terms of cutting-edge technology,” stated Lin. “We hope our technology and presence helps advance Singapore's thriving high-technology development.”
