Rugged systems vendor “Rounds” out management team

Roundy has 15 years experience in the embedded and super-computing industries, and will be charged with driving application-specific solutions into new markets, while maintaining current sales programs.
Roundy most recently served as VP of products for Linux server specialist Penguin Computing. Prior to that, he worked for real-time software specialist Eyring Corporation, and served as VP of sales and marketing at Linux Networx, where he lead expansion into European and Asian markets, Parvus says.
Parvus President Mark Santo stated, “Parvus has exhibited significant sales growth over the past two years, and we expect [Roundy to] help lead [us] to new heights.”
Roundy stated, “Parvus [has] a tremendous upside. [It] offers a compelling line of rugged computer, networking, and display products, as well as systems engineering capabilities. This combination will allow us to continue to serve our existing customers and partners well, while penetrating new and emerging markets with application-specific solutions.”
Parvus supplies rugged hardware platforms — including mobile networking solutions, avionics displays, and embedded computer technologies — to customers in the military, transportation, homeland security, and medical device industries. It was founded in 1983, and is the US arm of the Eurotech Group, a pervasive computing specialist with operations across Europe, North America, and Asia.
