TeamLinux establishes West Coast presence

Austin, Texas — (company press release) — TeamLinux Corporation today announced a new US West Coast presence through its acquisition of Edge Technology Solutions (Edge) of Irvine, California. This move closely follows similar acquisitions in Austin and Dayton, Ohio, announced last month.

“Opening our West Coast region is further evidence of our company's commitment to addressing high nationwide demand for open source technology services solutions,” says Dan Maher, TeamLinux chairman and chief executive officer. “Penetrating the West Coast market and anchoring our presence in this key technology-savvy region is vital to our aggressive national expansion plans, he continues. The intellectual capital and existing relationships of these highly skilled people are complementary to our overall business plan and will quickly further our national presence.”

The Edge acquisition brings to TeamLinux consulting professionals with a proven track record of developing multifaceted solutions for high technology companies. Their solutions result in increased revenues, user productivity, customer satisfaction, reliability and security. Core competencies in the West Coast region and available nationwide include infrastructure architecture and integration, information security, E-commerce and Internet-enabled solutions, and LSI engineering/manufacturing.
