To DSO, or not to DSO — a developer’s perspective

In response to that article, we received a thoughtful “rebuttal” from Christopher Stone, offering a developer's perspective on DSO.
Stone is a partner in a small consulting firm that specializes in developing real-time, embedded, open-source software. He is also the founder of Mekanix, an “industrial grade” Linux distribution for factory automation and plant intelligence applications.
