BEIJING — (BUSINESS WIRE) — TurboLinux, Inc., the high performance Linux company, announced today the first Chinese language version of a Linux embedded operating system running on Motorola Semiconductor Products Sector's PowerPC8240. This combined platform opens many opportunities for application development, especially for accessing the Internet, according to TurboLinux. The first platform will be demonstrated at Internet World Exhibition, April 11 to April 13, at the China World Exhibition Center in Beijing.

Linux for embedded systems is gaining in popularity worldwide. But in China, Linux embedded systems are relatively new to the market.
