Veteran embedded market exec takes Wasabi helm

Logan III has joined the Company as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. Logan will lead the Company in all facets of corporate and strategic development, including sales growth and product development. Wasabi is the commercial source for embedded BSD products (NetBSD) and services.
Logan brings to Wasabi an impressive track record spanning more than eighteen years of leadership in the embedded systems and technology fields. Most recently, Logan served as interim President and COO of VenturCom, Inc., directing the company in its corporate development efforts after it acquired Chesapeake Bay Systems, Inc., a software development firm providing services to highly technical OEMs in the automation and embedded systems industries, which Logan founded in 1998. Before that, Logan was Chairman, President, and CEO of Nematron Corporation, where he led the turnaround of the industrial computer and operator interface company, ultimately repositioning it as a market leader and completing a successful Public Offering in June 1996. Logan's vision and accomplishments have earned a variety of industry honors, including The Ernst & Young Michigan “Entrepreneur of the Year,” Michigan's Leading Edge Technology award, Control Engineering's Editor's Choice, and a mention in Virginia's Hampton Roads “Rising 25” businesses.
