Jul 19, 2010 — by Eric Brown — from the LinuxDevices Archive — 3 viewsIntel Corp. announced open registration and keynotes for its 13th annual technical conference, which returns to San Francisco on Sept. 13-15. Promised for the Intel Developer Forum (IDF) are a keynote from CEO Paul Otellini on the “Computing Continuum,” as well as a keynote and track on the Intel Atom, and a track on the chipmaker's “Sandy Bridge” micro-architecture.
Held once again at Moscone Center West, the IDF will explore Intel's technology and platform roadmap directions for the next year and beyond in the areas of digital enterprise, mobility, embedded and communications, software, manufacturing, and research, says Intel.
In addition to offering keynotes, "Insight" sessions, and technology tracks, the IDF will also offer the Industry Technology Showcase, an exposition of Intel-related products from leading technology companies. In addition, Intel plans a series of "Intel Fellows: Live and Uncensored" sessions, in which attendees can ask Intel's most senior technologists questions, "no holds barred," says the company.
