Intel adds MontaVista to “applied computing” partner list

Intel's embedded division (Chandler, AZ) has added MontaVista Software to the Intel Applied Computing Platform Provider (ACPP) program. MontaVista becomes the second supplier of Embedded Linux to gain entry into the high profile partnership program. Advanced information on a Korean combo cell phone + PDA

Korean firms PalmPalm Technology and M-dream recently announced that they will be incorporating a Linux video game, Puzzle Bubble, into a new Linux-based CDMA/IMT2000 cellular phone that is scheduled to begin shipments this November in Korea. RadiSys, LynuxWorks to develop an open HA Linux architecture

M-Systems acquires data security and crypto technology company

Triscend announces ARM SOC with 3,200 field-configurable cells
