Cypress adds driver development wizards to EZ-USB toolkit

Jungo Software Technologies announced that Cypress Semiconductor has added an evaluation version of Jungo's WinDriver device driver development tool to Cypress's EZ-USB peripheral controller development kits. MontaVista Linux to support Mot’s latest DragonBall CPUs

Motorola's semiconductor division and MontaVista Software announced support for using Mot's latest DragonBall i.MX “applications processors” in handheld devices running MontaVista's embedded Linux software platform. CNET reports that a beta version of Linux 2.6 could be out as early as next week. “I'm planning on starting the so-called 'pre-2.6' series in early July, and that is kind of a beta series,” Linus Torvalds reportedly said in an interview. The first full kernel 2.6 release, version 2.6.0, will probably occur a few months later, Torvalds told CNET. (more…)
