HP taps Debian for Carrier Grade Linux

HP will supply Motorola with a Carrier Grade Linux version of Debian, as part of a long-term deal announced yesterday. HP chose the free, non-commercial Linux distribution over commercial alternatives in order to expedite feature additions, a company spokesperson said. (more…)

Canadian Linux PDA vendor raises funds, plans product launch

Another mobile media player reference design that lacks Linux

USB OTG development kits include Linux support

Motorola chooses Linux, commodity HP servers for telecom gear

SDK helps Linux devices recognize speech

Interact-TV has launched a new convergent media player / PVR (personal video recorder), and has upgraded its Linux-based OS's application stack.
