Sep 29, 2003 — by LinuxDevices Staff — from the LinuxDevices Archive — 2 viewsInfoSync World has posted a mostly favorable review of an English-language version of the Sharp Zaurus SL-C760 clamshell PDA. The detailed report praises the device's full VGA display, which features excellent color depth and sharpness (no pun intended).

Also drawing praise are the thumb keyboard, battery life, and dual expansion slots. Less laudatory are comments about the device's software bundle, and the author eagerly anticipates full support for OpenZaurus on the device.
Meanwhile, The Register is reporting that Sharp officials will meet next month for a worldwide review of their Zaurus product strategy, suggesting that distribution of the SL-C750 and SL-C760 in English-speaking countries and in Europe has not been ruled out.
