Bluepoint Linux Software Corp. today announced “Bluepoint Embedded” an embedded Linux solution for Internet appliances. Bluepoint Embedded is targeted towards Set-top Box, WebTV, Thin-Clients, and other Internet appliance applications. The following is an excerpt from Bluepoint's announcement about the new Embedded Linux product . . .

“Through substantial efforts in the research and development of Linux kernel, Bluepoint has made a break through in solving problems in the area of memory space and real time interaction. Bluepoint Embedded requires requires very little memory space which makes it particularly suitable for Internet appliances with little memory space. Bluepoint Embedded also provides a TV-Friendly graphic interface: Flash and Java support and Netscape Navigator 4.7”.
