Canadian Linux expo features embedded Linux panel

The Linux Business Expo (Canada) has announced a panel discussion on embedded Linux. The session, entitled “Why Embedded Linux”, will take place on Thursday, July 13. In that session Lineo CEO Bryan Sparks, Lynuxworks CEO Inder Singh, representatives from Red Hat and emWare, and moderator Al Gillen (IDC Research Manager) will discuss the future of embedded Linux systems and devices.

The Linux Business Expo is colocated with COMDEX/Canada 2000, WINDOWS WORLD, and NetWorld+Interop, and takes place July 12-14, 2000, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Toronto, Ontario.
