Free trial SDK for mobile browser has many embedded Linux options

Access is offering free downloads of the trial version of its NetFront v3.1 Software Development Kit (SDK) for Linux. The Qtopia/Qt/Embedded package is available now, with the GTK package to follow in early January, 2004. The commercial version of the SDK for Linux will ship at the end of December, according to Access. (more…)

Digital media adapter and residential gateway design boasts UPnP, 802.11g

Embedded Linux provider RedSonic and Ethernet device manufacturer Micrel have completed a reference design for an 802.11g wireless Digital Media Adapter (DMA) gateway that is available for licensing by device manufacturers.
