A new research study from market analyst IDC confirms that potential growth for the “unconnected PDA” market is shifting to voice-enabled devices including mobile phones and “converged mobile devices,” which combine the data capabilities of PDAs with the voice communication capabilities of mobile phones. Encirq Corp. announced a suite of technology, tools, and components for creating databases for embedded systems and devices. Encirq 3e Database Suite for Embedded Systems can be used to create “the world's smallest embedded databases -- often in less than 50K,” the company said.
