Extended-temp XScale to handle truly hot apps

Intel this week unveiled a temperature-hardened version of its popular, embedded XScale processor. The new 80200T is available in speed grades up to 733 MHz and has the StrongARM core common to the XScale family. It consumes less than 1.3 watts, and can operate over the 'industrial' temperature range of -40 to +85 degrees Celsius (-104 to +185 degree F), according to Intel's specs. (more…)
