Nov 14, 2002 — by LinuxDevices Staff — from the LinuxDevices Archive — 6 viewsVersaLogic (Eugene, OR) will unveil what is being claimed to be the “world's fastest PC/104-Plus computer” at the Embedded Systems Conference in Boston next week.
VersaLogic's “Jaguar” is a two-module PC/104-Plus SBC stack which features “Socket 370” compatibility, supporting CPUs from 350 MHz (fanless) to 850 MHz Pentium III. It also includes 10/100 Ethernet and AGP video, along with a long list of other integrated functions (listed below). The two-module stack is designed to be installed on the top of a PC/104 stack due to fan/heatsink height, but other configurations are supposedly possible based the specific environmental characteristics of the application.
