Debian powers sleek, two-pound mini-PC

The 450-Euro Manuscriptum is based on a 500MHz AMD Geode LX800, is equipped with an 80GB hard drive, and offers 1920 x 1400 graphics, according to the company.

Manufactum is a vendor of high-end gift items ranging from housewares to toys, so it's not surprising that the Manuscriptum mini-PC sports a relatively high $650 price-tag.

The Manuscriptum runs Debian Linux with a KDE desktop environment, according to the company. It also includes preinstalled versions of the OpenOffice office suite, Firefox Web browser, and Foxit PDF reader.
