ESC Boston announces technical program
Jul 19, 2004 — by LinuxDevices Staff — from the LinuxDevices Archive — viewsThe Democrats will be there next week, but what really has Boston excited is the 13th annual Embedded Systems Conference (ESC), September 13-16. CMP Media has announced the technical program for the conference, which is co-located with the Embedded Security Seminar this year.
This year, ESC will offer more than 70 conference sessions on topics including UML, TCP/IP networking, Linux/Open Source, real-time development, and high availability design. “These sessions will focus on delivering the technical insight necessary to make embedded system designs stronger, faster, and more reliable,” according to the event's organizers. “Each class and tutorial provides practical answers to the toughest questions, and teaches skills and techniques that can be implemented immediately.”
Keynote — “Keeping Your Job Onshore”
On Tuesday, September 14, Dan Saks, writer for Embedded Systems Programming and C++ guru, will deliver the keynote. He will address how software developers can make themselves more valuable in the marketplace amidst the trend toward off-shoring.
