First word of second coming of Fujitsu Linux-powered robot
Mar 28, 2003 — by LinuxDevices Staff — from the LinuxDevices Archive — viewsFujitsu's Linux-based HOAP-1 robot appears to have been reincarnated as HOAP-2, according to a report at The Register. Fujitsu announced HOAP-1 (Humanoid for Open Architecture Platform) in September 2001, saying, at that time, that the little RTLinux-powered robot was mainly targeting research and development of robotic technologies.
