Free seminars on embedded technologies
Mar 1, 2001 — by LinuxDevices Staff — from the LinuxDevices Archive — viewsLynuxWorks, Trillium Digital Systems Inc., and Highlander are hosting a series of free seminars covering open standards, high availability platforms, CORBA, and communications software for next generation networks. Take advantage of Open Standards to accelerate the development of your distributed applications that require real-time, high availability, and signaling interoperability. This technical seminar is targeted towards embedded software development engineers and engineering managers.
This free seminar will cover state-of-the-art, standards-based solutions for building highly available and distributed embedded/real-time applications, such as Next Generation telecom and datacom equipment. This will be illustrated by the use of Open Standards in creating reliable equipment designs based on high Availability OS platforms from LynuxWorks (LynxOS and BlueCat); CORBA-compliant middleware from Highlander (VisiBroker); and Communications Software solutions from Trillium. Also, during the demo session a Bluetooth demo of cable replacement technology for equipment trade interface will be demonstrated featuring Rappore Technologies.
