Inaugural Qt conference issues call for papers

The event features Trolltech CEO Havaard Nord delivering a keynote, Trolltech representatives discussing advances in Qt 4.0, and local developers discussing advanced UI techniques using… Qt.
Trolltech's Qt is a cross-platform development framework that enables Windows, MacOS, Linux, and UNIX binaries to be compiled from a single source tree. The conference is sponsored by Qt training partner and add-on supplier ICS.
Suggested topics include:
- IDE Integration (.NET, Xcode, KDevelop)
- Database Integration
- Converting from Motif, Windows, Java
- Use of QCanvas and OpenGL
- Use of Third-Party Components
- Using Designer
Abstracts are due March 26, 2004, and may be submitted online. Presenters will be notified on Mar. 31, and final presentations are due May 3.
